Single blue and purple Tourmaline crystal from the Pederniera Mine. This crystal is from what I am told was called the 'blurple' pocket for the distincetive blue and purple coloration of the crystals. The crystal is zoned in approximate thirds, with a lower purple zone, a central blue zone, and back to a purple coloration at the termination. The crystal is gemmy, complete, and undamaged and weighs 16.79 grams.

Complete all around and undamaged with uniform shape and steep pyramidal termination. Even more glassy and transparent in person as the camera picks up more tiny distractions than are apparent to the human eye. Weighs 13 grams. These are among the world's best Tourmalines and mining at this locality has reportedly ended.
