LP242 - Copper (cubes!) $2,200 available
Lake Superior Copper District, Keweenaw Peninsula, Michigan, USA
Miniature - 5 x 3.5 x 2 cm
Cluster of cubic Copper crystals with dark patina. Copper crystals with cube form are rare and this specimen is composed of nothing but crystals with individuals to 1cm in size. Ex. Mike Martin, Ben Vone collections.
TL309 - Quartz, Manganite on Rhodochrosite $4,000 available
N'Chwanning Mine, Kuruman, South Africa

Sparkling drusy Quartz crystals coating a cluster of red Rhodochrosite crystals. The Rhodo crystals have truncated, flat terminations coated by Quartz, while much of the sides of the crystals are not covered by Quartz. In addition, small, sharp crystals of Manganite are present atop the Quartz. Ex. Carl Acosta collection and comes mounted on a Lucite stand (and propped up by a small piece of Rhodochrosite!).

Large single crystal of Acanthite from Guanajuato. A sharp, well crystallized floater complete all around and undamaged and likely a pseudomorph of Acanthite after Argentite. Collected in 1999, shortly before the mine closed in 2003. Ex. Carl Acosta collection.

Level 530, San Guillermo Vein, Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico

TL313 - Microlite $1,250 available
Brumado Mine, Bahia, Brazil
2 x 2 x 1.7 cm
Unusually large single octahedral Microlite crystal. The crystal is dark green and translucent and mostly complete all around (missing the bottom tip as shown). Ex. Carl Acosta collection. Carl acquired this out of Jean Smith's personal collection. Jean was an owner of 'The Rocksmiths' dealership who travelled to Brazil frequently on buying trips. Although Microlite is not listed on MINDAT as occurring from Brumado, Brumado has produced a wide number of rare and unusual species and I am going with Jean's locality information.
TL314 - Arsenian Pyromorphite $950 available
Bunker Hill Mine, Kellogg, Shoshone Co., Idaho, USA
4.5 x 4.5 x 3.3 cm
'Wet' luster and fiery orange color make for a wonderful miniature from the famous Bunker Hill Mine. The Pyromorphite extends all around the sides and back of the specimen with a small open cavity on top.
TL315 - Quartz with Fuschite $900 available
Chaprot Valley, Chalt, Gilgit, Pakistan
3.8 x 1.6 x 0.8 cm
Single Quartz crystal with unusual lime-green inclusions of Fuschite. The crystal is partially doubly-terminated and has excellent color zoning on the fully terminated end. The color is amazing! This is from a one time find back in 1993 and very few specimens were available. Ex. Carl Acosta collection.
TL316 - Amethyst on Quartz $650 available
Captain Nemo Pocket, Purple Hope Claims, King Co., Washington, USA
10 x 8.5 x 7 cm
Cluster of glassy purple Amethyst crystals rising up from white Quartz crystals. Specimens such as this with Amethyst on white Quartz crystals make for some of my favorite and most aesthetically pleasing of all Amethyst specimens. Additionally, there is an Amethyst scepter to the left of the main cluster. All the terminations are perfect. There is a bit of irregular (but crystallized) surface contacting from other Quartz crystals on the back of the Amethyst cluster, otherwise it's perfect.
