Large Cabinet - 27.5 x 7.5 x 4 cm
Two doubly-terminated Quartz crystals from China that I named the 'chopsticks'. The crystals are 19.5 and 23 cm long, perfect and undamaged (there is actually a third smaller doubly-terminated Quartz crystal 4cm long attached). Quartz from this locality is known for it's black carbon inclusions as is present in these crystals. The Quartz crystals are both large and high quality. Ex. Mike Keim.
R968 - Sphalerite on Alabandite sold
Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania
Thumbnail - 1.8 x 1.4 x 1.3 cm
Sharp, complete single Alabandite crystal with attached Sphalerite. The great form and color contrast of the orange/red Sphalerite make this one special. Complete and undamaged with a smooth groove in one side where it was attached to a now gone crystal. Though small, it is the finest one I've had. Ex. Mike Keim.
R969 - Smokey Quartz/Amethyst scepter $3,500 available
Peterson Mountain, Nevada, USA
Large Cabinet - 16.5 x 10 x 8 cm
Large, complete Quartz scepter from Paul Geffner's claim on Peterson Mountain. This was self-collected in June 2024 and was the best crystal found during that dig and valued by the mine owners at $4500. The crystal has a smokey stem with a fat scepter head with both smokey and amethyst coloration and wild growth patterns all around. I was able to extract it from the pocket undamaged and it has been professionally cleaned. Included is a picture the moment it was found.
R970 - Fluorite $6,000 available
Yaogangxian Mine, Huna, China
Cabinet - 15 x 12 x 6 cm
Isolated clusters and individual crystals of transparent blue Fluorite on matrix. This is an old piece I've owened for over 20 years from early finds at the mine. The crystals are transparent blue with purple cores. Bright and undamaged crystals associated with Quartz and Arsenopyrite crystals. Better than photos! Ex. Mike Keim.
R971 - Rutile in Quartz sold
Minas Gerais, Brazil
Small Cabinet - 7.5 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm
Transparent Smokey Quartz crystal with included golden Rutile crystals. Rather than hair-like Rutile needles going in every direction, this crystal contains two thick clusters rising up from the base. It is also complete all around and the base is crystallized. Ex. Mike Keim.

Stone carving of two green sea turtles attached to a shell. Carved from a single piece of rock with the green area carved as turtles and the white area carved as the shell. A beautiful piece of art that I acquired as part of an old collection purchase years ago. Ex. Mike Keim.
R974 - Dravite (3 crystals) $750 available
Nepal
Small Cabinet - 7.3 x 3.5 x 3 cm
R721 - Silver and Gold (wire!) $3,500 available
Yukon, Canada
Thumbnail - 3.0 x 1.2 x 0.2 cm
A somewhat matched pair of Silver and Gold specimens that looked so nice together I decied to sell them as a pair. The Gold is a bright golden metallic wire from the Yukon, 3cm tall. The wire has folded over itself on one end creating a 'J' form. Wire gold is an exceptionally rare, natural form of gold. True wire Gold (unlike elongated spinel twins) show striations along the length of the wire, as is very evident in this specimen. Weighs 1.29 grams. The Silver is from the Elura Mine in Australia and is 2.5cm tall. It forms an aesthetic, curved wire-like specimen that is actually an elongated spinel-twinned crystal with smaller attached side crystals.

Collection of 5 gem eggs including a transparent star Rose Quartz from Madagascar, two Malachite eggs from the DR Congo, and two Tiger-eye eggs from South Africa. Ex. Mike Keim.

R979 - 'Gitter' Quartz ps. Feldspar $750 available
Erongo Region, Namibia
Cabinet - 13.5 x 8 x 6 cm
Large Quartz pseudomorph after Feldspar with cris-crossing crystals. These are known as 'Gitter Quartz" (a German name for fence or lattice Quartz) or simply 'Lattice Quartz'. The Quartz crystals normally form epitaxially on Feldspar with either single or multiple Feldspar crystals covered with oriented Quartz crystals on the sides. This one however is a complete replacement of the Feldspar (you see nothing but Quartz when looking at the base). It's large in size with hundreds of cris-crossing Quartz crystals that extend out from the former Feldspar crystals. The Erongo Mountains is one of the only worldwide localities that produce this style of unusual Quartz specimens.

R978 - Fossil Coral var. 'Petoskey Stone' sold
Little Traverse Bay, Michigan, USA

Polished specimen of fossil coral known as 'Petoskey stone'. Petoskey stone is a fossilized, prehistoric coral (Hexagonaria percarinata) that formed around 350-400 million years ago. They are known for their unique six-sided, honeycomb-like pattern and are the official state stone of Michigan. This is a good sized example that is polished on top and natural on the bottom. Ex. Mike Keim.
