A146 - Sphene sold
Mulla Ghori, Khyber Agency, Pakistan
Small Cabinet - 8 x 5 x 2 cm
Large and gemmy single twinned crystal of Sphene from an uncommon locality. Although there is damage to one end, crystals from this locality always seem to have some damage, just due to the nature of the deposit. However, this crystal is as sharp and well formed as I've seen, and it is large. Crystals fromt his locality are characterized by their deep 'V' along the long edge, and on this crystal it reaches 1.5cm deep. Good golden green color too.
NA293 - Grossular sold

Miniature - 3.8 x 2.5 x 1.1 cm
Transparent orange Grossular crystals. Backside is flat and fully crystallized.
NA318 - Grossular sold
Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Quebec, Canada
Small Cabinet - 6.2 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm
Transparent orange Grossular crystals to 1.7cm. Top crystal extends up beyond the matrix and highlights the transparency of the crystals. Associated with Diopside. A high quality specimen recently obtained from a Canadian collection. Specimens of this caliber are hard to come by now, especially those with such transparent crystals of large size.
