Tucson 2013 February 14, 2013 · 11 specimens Fine quality Tremolite has been coming out of the Merelani Mines for the past few years. Typically I would see a few splintery crystals at a time mixed in with parcels of Diopside. The crystals had exceptional color, but were more often than not without a good termination. The below specimens are from a recent find, all with the same great color but amazingly, nearly all have a perfect flat termination, and most have excellent transparency. |
