AF940 - Jeremejevite sold
Ameib Ranch, Arandis, Erongo Region, Namibia
Thumbnail - 2.8 x 0.8 x 0.7 cm
Gem quality etched crystal with a very uniform blue color. This crystal was selected to be part of the special exhibit 'African Thumbnail Treasures' at the 2012 Munich mineral show, which indicates it is of a quality that 'stands out among the crowd' with respect to other Jeremejevites.
AF944 - Quartz sold
Orange River, South Africa
Thumbnail - 3 x 2.5 x 2.2 cm
Thumbnails sized cluster of Quartz crystals with an orange red coloration. Main central crystal is mily and translucent at the base and changes to a transparent orange red at the termination. Undamaged, even the small crystals along the base.
AF448 - Rhodochrosite sold
N'Chwanning Mine, Kuruman, South Africa
Miniature - 3.9 x 2.8 x 2.4 cm
Cluster of deep red, gem Rhodo crystals. Outstanding color and luster. A number of the crystal tips have small cleavage faces, but regardless, this is an impressive, attractive cluster of crystals that is hard to come by.

Translucent, butterscotch colored Calcite crystals to 1.8cm wide on a coral-like formation of grey Mottramite.
NA574 - Amethyst sold
Jackson's Crossroads, Wilkes County, Georgia

1.8 cm thick main Amethyst crystal, with two attached smaller Amethyst crystals on a matrix of clear Quartz crystals. Ex. Ralph Clark collection.
NA575 - Quartz sold
Angle Gate Mine, Fonda, New York
Thumbnail - 1.5 x 1.4 x 1.0 cm
Highly unusual and rare 'Herkimer sphere' Quartz. It is believed that these grew in vesicles in hydrocarbons. Besides the rounded form, another unusual feature are the small flat crystal faces - I count five such faces on this specimen. You can read more about this unusual occurrence at the following link: http://www.herkimerhistory.com/QuartzSpheres.html. According to this website, the largest such sphere found to date (by 2009, the time the web page was written) was 1.o cm across. Since this one is 50% bigger than that, it is likely that this sphere is in the top percentile for size. Lustrous and undamaged. A superb rarity for a Quartz collector.

TZ180 - Dravite sold
Namalulu, Tanzania
Thumbnail - 1.8 x 0.8 x 0.8 cm
Double terminated Dravite crystal from a new find in Tanzania. What makes this crystal unusual is the radial color-zoning along the C-axis, clearly visible on one termination. There are six rays with a light green color and six rays of dark green or black. This is the only such crystal of this type I have seen.
A967 - Sapphire sold
Ratnapura, Sri Lanka
Thumbnail - 2.1 x 1.3 x 1.0 cm
Double-terminated Sapphire crystal with a good blue color and undamaged. One termination is flattened and flairs out into a second side crystal.
