Tucson 2014 February 19, 2014 · 7 specimens There was a relative abundance of Tsavorite at the show this year due to a couple good pockets hit in mid to late 2013. While the color was not tip top, the crystals had great form and great glassy luster. Most noteworthy was the limited amount of clusters and also the perfect floater single crystals, which are also uncommon. I selected this batch for associated minerals, matrix specimens, or floater singles. |
