A972 - Mangano Calcite sold
Huanggang Mine, Keshiketeng, Inner Mongolia, China
Thumbnail - 2.8 x 2.0 x 1.6 cm
Two twin crystals on matrix. This one is unusual as most (all I ever saw) were loose single crystal twins without matrix (see others on this website). This specimen was part of the Crystalline Treasures exhibit at the University of Arizona. There are 'alien eye' Fluorites from Erongo, and I think these too could be called 'alien eye', with white 'eyes' surrounded by translucent pink when you look at them from the top.
A973 - Grossular sold

Flaoter cluster of golden Grossular crystals in a wide range of sizes. This specimen was part of the Crystalline Treasures exhibit at the University of Arizona. Undamaged.
