C288 - Lawsonite sold
Mendocino Co., California, USA
Cabinet - 11 x 8 x 4 cm
Pinkish Lawsonite crystals on Glaucophane schist. I have had a number of these over the past few years, however none as good as this one. This was just released by the field collector, one of (if not the best) that he had held back. There are piles of crystals, with much more surficial relief than most. It's both good sized for the find AND by far the richest in terms of quantities of good crystals. And the crystals are big, reaching 1.4cm in width. Spectacular. Some saw cuts on back side.

C297 - Fluorite on Galena sold
Naica, Chihuahua, Mexico
Small Cabinet - 7 x 5.5 x 5 cm
Cubic light green Fluorite on and in a hollow, spherical group of Galena crystals. This unique specimen is known as the 'Miner's Headlamp' for it's resemblance to a miners helmet and headlamp. The form of the Galena is very much like a helmet, hollow with a medium green Fluorite inside. The Fluorite on the front of the \"helmet' is stepped and highly lustrous and undamaged. The Fluorite is light green in color - the camaera did not pick up the color.
C299 - Calcite on Fluorite sold
Cave-in-Rock, Hardin Co., Illinois, USA
Small Cabinet - 6 x 6 x 4 cm
Translucent cubic Fluorite with yellow cores and beautiful sky blue outer zones. There are Calcite crystals attached to the right side. I had a hard time photographing this one and I think it is much better in person. The outer blue zone is transparent and bright.
