K151 - Amethyst sold
Toll Mountain, Jefferson Co. Montana, USA
Small Cabinet - 7.5 x 5 x 4 cm
This is a fantastic double-terminated Amethyst with smokey zones perched on a cluster of smaller Quartz crystals. The large DT crystal is 6cm and perfect without a single tiny nick. In fact the whole specimen is an undamaged floater crystallized all around. Comes with an on old Roberts Minerals label, which in my experience has always meant quality.
K144 - Cubanite sold
Henderson No. 2 Mine, Chibougamu, Quebec, Canada
Small Cabinet - 8 x 3.5 x 2 cm
Here is a rare opportunity to get a matrix Cubanite from the world's best locale for the species. Sulfide matrix covered with a druse of small Calcite crystals and scattered, brassy crystals of Cubanite. The crystals have mirror bright luster and some show twinning striations. Some crystals show damage or irregular growth. Ex. Joan Massague collection.
