M326 - Mottramite on/in Calcite sold
Tsumeb, Namibia
Miniature - 4.2 x 3.7 x 3 cm
Cluster of rhombic and lenticular Calcite crystals heavily included with green Mottramite that also protrudes out the Calcite. Good all around. One of my favorite types of Tsumeb specimens. Comes with an old Lesnicks label.
M337 - Wulfenite sold
Oujda-Angad Prefecture, Oriental Region, Morocco
Cabinet - 10 x 6 x 5 cm
Vuggy white Dolomite matrix with areas of Dolomite crystals loaded with yellow Wulfenite crystals. The Wulfenite crystals reach 1cm in size, are translucent, and are slightly dipyramidal. Comes with an old Roberts Minerals label, who were well known for fine minerals. Please excuse the (now gone) pine needle.
M339 - Wulfenite sold
Los Lamentos, Chihuahua, Mexico
Small Cabinet - 7.5 x 6 x 3.5 cm
Thick, orange wulfenite crystals to 1cm that contrast well against the white matrix.
M340 - Calcite with Galena $350 available
Sweetwater Mine, Missouri, USA
Small Cabinet - 8 x 7 x 6 cm
Three yellow Calcite crystals with Galena crystals on matrix covered by small Dolomite crystals. This is an example of how exceptional aesthetics turn a common mineral into a fine mineral specimen. The top crystal is double-terminated and each of the two Calcite on the left side have Galena crystals at their bases. Complete all around and undamaged and good when viewed from any angle. A floater with no points of attachment. A good one!!
M342 - Quartz var. Citrine sold
Minas Gerais, Brazil
Small Cabinet - 7 x 5 x 4 cm
Cluster of yellow Quartz variety Citrine. This is old material from Brazil and has the most true yellow color of any Quartz I've ever had. Most Citrine is a shade of orangey brown - there is no orange color in this one. Undamaged and pristine.
M345 - Fluorite on Sphalerite $275 available
Naica, Chihuahua, Mexico
Miniature - 3.3 x 3.2 x 2.1 cm
Showy miniature sized specimen of transparent cubes of Fluorite atop Sphalerite with a small amount of white Calcite crystals accenting the lower left. The Fluorite cluster is 2cm in size. Very nice piece!
