M920 - Faden Quartz with Inclusions sold
Balochistan, Pakistan
Small Cabinet - 7 x 6.8 x 2 cm
Cluster of faden Quartz crystals with linear peach and green colored inclusions. The inclusions give a silky, almost cat's-eye appearance to the Quartz. Undamaged and crystallized all around, a floater. Really unusual Quartz crystal unlike any I've seen before.
M710 - Enstatite sold
Kilosa, Morogoro, Tanzania
Thumbnail - 1.3 x 0.7 x 0.5 cm
Complete single gem crystal, facet quality. Good luster and a good, though slightly etched, termination. Crystals from this find are usually only suitable for facet rough as most are unterminated and etched, in fact this crystal was pulled from facet rough. Specimen quality Enstatite crystals are uncommon.
M914 - Topaz $650 available
Shigar, Skardu, Pakistan
Miniature - 5 x 3.3 x 2.2 cm
Double-terminated gem Topaz crystal with attached Quartz and Albite. Transparent and undamaged.
M917 - Sphalerite on Rhodochrosite sold
Gilman, Colorado, USA
Small Cabinet - 6 x 5 x 4 cm
Sphalerite crystals on lenticular pink Rhodochrosite on a pyrite matrix. An old classic from Gilman.
M921 - Spessartine, Apatite $650 available
Shigar Valley, Skardu, Pakistan
Thumbnail - 3 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm
Red Spessartine either grown over or replacing a pink Apatite crystal. The garnets come together around the Apatite and retain the general form of the Apatite, with natural gaps between the garnets evidenced by etched faces in the walls of the gaps. These are certainly unusual and uncommon specimens, and I've only had 2 before. A flaoter fully crystallized all around, with attached mica.
M912 - Wulfenite with Quartz sold
M'fouati, Bouenza Department, Congo
Thumbnail - 3 x 3 x 2.5 cm
A 3cm Wulfenite crystal attached to another Wulfenite that is covered by Quartz crystals. There is pitting in the fron surface, but it is well terminated and displays well.
