Lawsonite December 6, 2022 · 24 specimens Old specimens of Lawsonite from the Type locality in Marin Co., California. Lawsonite is a rare sorosilicate mineral and occurs here as blue to white crystals in a green Glaucophane schist, sometimes with small garnets or Pyrite. These were all collected back in 1968 by the late Chuck Trantham. This locality is covered by homes now and no more will likely be found (I've been there and looked!). |
