LP853 - Moldavite sold
Besednice, Czech Republic
Miniature - 3.8 x 2.5 x 0.8 cm
Transparent green Moldavite from the small village of Besednice in southern Czech Republic. It has a slightly arrowhead shape with deep surface grooves. It's complete all around and in perfect condition without any chips or damage. Moldavite is not an item I typically sell, but as a mineral dealer you sometimes acquire different things in deals. I showed this to a dealer who regularly sells Moldavite, and he rated this as $80/gram quality. This specimen weighs 5.69 grams and is offered here to move at about $60/gram.
LP854 - Azurite sold
Tsumeb, Namibia
Miniature - 4.5 x 2 x 1 cm
Tall single Azurite crystal from Tsumeb. There is some minor edge chipping otherwise it's complete and perfect all around with sharp edges and an angled termination. This is also the highly translucent/transparent type and good blue color can be seen throughout the entire crystal when backlit (backlit in both the top and bottom areas to show the transparency throughout).
LP855 - Calcite, Dioptase on Malachite sold
Tsumeb, Namibia
Miniature - 5 x 3 x 2.5
This is a fabulous Tsumeb piece composed of botryoidal, velvety Malachite partially coated by Dioptase crystals and tiny white Calcite crystals. It's a floater with no points of contact. My favorite part is a spherical knob of Malachite adorned with a crown of Dioptase crystals.
LP856 - Calcite, Dioptase, Duftite $250 available
Tsumeb, Namibia
Small Cabinet - 6 x 4.5 x 2.5
