R561 - Prehnite $1,250 available
Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania
Small Cabinet - 6.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm
Rosette-like formation of Prehnite crystals atop a 'matrix' of crystallized Prehnite. The rosette is 3.5cm tall and composed of large sized crystals with great yellow color and translucency. The lower portion of Prehnite has some of the greenest coloration I've yet seen in Tanzanian Prehnite. This is an incredible Prehnite that I've held in my collection for many years. Ex. Mike Keim.

Mwajanga, near Komolo, Tanzania
Thumbnail - 2.0 x 1.5 x 1.5 cm
Single gem Dravite crystal from the initial finds at Mwajanga around 2014. Gem quality and rootbeer-brown in color. Complete all around and nearly pristine with a wonderful multi-faceted termination. Weighs 5.75 grams. Ex. Mike Keim.
R571 - Titanite sold
Tete Prov., Mozambique
Thumbnail - 2.2 x 1.2 x 0.3 cm
Complete single green Titanite crystal from Mozambique. Partially included but highly gemmy in other areas. Well crystallized on all sides and undamaged.
R574 - Ruby in Zoisite sold
Longido, Tanzania
Large Cabinet - 18 x 12.5 x 9 cm
Deep red, hexagonal Ruby crystal surrounded by green Zoisite. This specimen is exceptional for the sharp hexagonal form of the Ruby crystal and the impressive size of the Ruby at 13cm! On most of these, either because of the way the rock breaks or the shape of the Ruby crystals themselves, the rubies are more amorphous-looking without the hexagonal shape. The Zoisite has a bright lime green coloration with additional smaller rubies present. This is a big heavy piece that could be sliced up into multiple slabs on polished, but I like the natural look of this one. Ex. John Dabney collection.
R575 - Ruby in Zoisite sold
Longido, Tanzania
Cabinet - 12.5 x 11.5 x 10 cm
Deep red, hexagonal Ruby crystal surrounded by green Zoisite. This specimen is exceptional for the sharp hexagonal form of the Ruby crystal, which is 6.5cm in diameter. On most of these, either because of the way the rock breaks or the shape of the Ruby crystals themselves, the rubies are more amorphous-looking without the hexagonal shape. The Zoisite has a bright lime green coloration with an additional large Ruby present on the back side. This is a big heavy piece that could be sliced up into multiple slabs on polished, but I like the natural look of this one. Ex. John Dabney collection.
