Gorgeous and colorful single Tourmaline crystal that was recently released from a suite of Maine Tourmaline in a serious East Coast collection. Although it was said to be from Maine, and specimens of red above green Tourmaline do exist from Newry, it also looks Brazilian to me. At any rate, I have priced it as a Brazilian crystal and if it is from Maine, a buyer will be getting a deal! The crystal is complete all around and undamaged and grades from a hot pink termination to a more purple middle zone, with gemmy green at the base (a 'lipstick' Tourmaline). Two of the three termination faces are smooth and flat, while the third is grooved but fully crystallized. Weighs 25.48 grams.
