Water-clear single Quartz crystal with unusual form from the Mondo Mine. This recently discovered mine shot to fame for two reasons: 1) Quartz crystals of exceptional transparency and 2) a large variety of highly complex crystal forms including uncommon crystal faces, edge serations, and etched forms. This crystal is likely the result of etching followed by recrystallization resulting multiple angular indentions up and down the prism faces. The original termination faces remain intact and the base has crystallized. Complete all around and undamaged, a real stunner. A strange one for a Quartz crystal collector.
