Lustrous red crystals of Getchellite on matrix. Bright red Getchellite crystals cover an area 2cm wide, with crystals or Realgar and Orpiment on other areas of the matrix. Getchellite is a rare arsenic and antimony sulfide mineral and this mine is both the Type locality for the species and the world's best locality for Getchellite specimens. The Getchell Mine is an old polymetallic mine (gold, arsenic, silver, and more).
