Lustrous red crystals of Realgar lining vugs on matrix. Realgar crystals are present on most sides of the specimen. The Getchell Mine is an old polymetallic mine (gold, arsenic, silver, and more) and has produced numerous fine mineral specimens including Realgar, Galkhaite, and Getchellite, for which it is the Type locality for the species.
