Specimen of solid black, botryoidal Hematite without matrix from the Bouse area. Lustrous and bubbly black formations covering the entire front display face. Bouse is an old mining camp that was founded in 1908 and has produced Hematite of both bladed crystals and of botryoidal form, such as this one. Ex. Dave Shannon specimen and likely dates back to at least the 1970s.
