Old specimen of doubly-terminated Quartz crystals atop Hematite crystals from New York. The Quartz are transparent and sit atop metallic bladed Hematite crystals that cover a matrix of massive Hematite. This is a historic specimen formerly in the collection of Thomas Edison (inventor of the light bulb). Edison purchased the specimen as part of the George Kunz collection in 1890. Here's a chance to own a piece of mineral collecting history. Comes with Edison's old label.
