Transparent single Cuprite crystal from the famous Red Dome mine, considered by many to have produced the world's best Cuprite specimens. This crystal has complex growth and contacts from other crystals and lights up like a piece of red glass when backlit - it's entirely transparent! Note the dark area at the bottom in the backlit photos is caused by the putty used to hold the crystal in place and is not due to the crystal lacking transparency in this area. Ex. Jon Sigerman.
