Glassy, translucent to transparent crystals of Datolite to 12mm on matrix. Superb for California Datolite, this was found recently in Northern California and are larger than other Datolites ever found in the state. The specimens from the find were all found in seams in a couple boulders realeased by a highway construction project and the in-situ source has never been found.
