Gemmy, sharp green crystals of Ludlamite over Siderite from the famous Blackbird Mine in Idaho. The Ludlamite form abundant sharp and bright green crystals liberally sprinkled across a surface of botryoidal Siderite. This is old, classic USA material from a defunct cobalt mine that produced some of the world's best Ludlamite. The specimen is from the collection of Don Boyston of Los Angeles, California. I purchased this in 2005 when his collection was sold. Don had a number of Blackbird Ludlamites in the collection - this was my favorite and I've held onto it all this time.
