This is a replacement of Copper after an Azurite cluster and has unusually well separated, distinct crystals.

Cuprite crystals reach 4mm in size and are present on both sides. Come with an old Lidstroms label.

M534 - Kammererite $ 900 (=~ ¥ 93168) Kop Krom Mine, Kop Daglari, East Anatolia, Turkey cabinet - 10.5 x 4.5 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Richly crystallized Kammererite specimen loaded with large crystals to 7mm. Translucent crystals with deep purple color. Undamaged with crystals on both sides. The bottom is relatively flat and it stands up on it's own for display. This mine is long closed and pieces of this quality are hard to come by now.
M538 - Tsavorite, Diopside, on Graphite $ 750 (=~ ¥ 77640) Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania cabinet - 11 x 8 x 5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large display matrix Tsavorite specimen, which are hard to come by. This specimen has better than average, large Graphite crystals, white Diopside crystals, and Tsavorites crystals to 9mm. The Tsavorite have great green color (not pale!), and are gemmy.
M533 - Spinel $ 1000 (=~ ¥ 103520) Mogok, Myanmar thumbnail - 1.5 x 1.3 x 1.3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Glassy red Spinel, a single crystal with a couple step overgrowth crystals on one corner. Undamaged and transparent, with internal imperfections that saved it from being cut. Color is everything with gems, and this has a superb blood red color. Weighs 9.2 carats.
M560 - Hematite on Quartz on Hematite Cumberland, England cabinet - 9.5 x 7 x 5.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Black, botryoidal 'kidney-ore' covered by large glassy Quartz crystals. A 3.5cm grouping of Hematite crystals sits amongst the Quartz crystals.
M593 - Calcite (twin) McBride, British Columbia, Canada small cabinet - 7.5 x 4.5 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large butterfly-twin white Calcite crystal. Good on both sides, undamaged except the very bottom where it detached.
