Good coverage of golden Orpiment crystals. The Twin Creeks Mine is a large open pit Gold mine in central Nevada. The Orpiment was found during Gold mining operations in the 1990s. In excellent condition.

Translucent green octahedrons of Fluorite on a Quartz crystal coated matrix. This is a floater well crystallized on all sides with no points of contact. In exceelent condition with damage to one crystal on the back and a small cleave on one crystal visible from the front, otherwise all are perfect, including the Quartz.

Well formed Quartz scepter with white coatings of Dolomite. Complete all around and undamaged with a very uniform shape (which make the best scepter specimens). Old specimen found in 1996. The 'stalk' of the specimen apperas to have been sanded down either to remove the white coating, enhance the scepter effect, or both.

Calcite lined vug with clusters of dark green Clinoatacamite. The Clinoatacamite crystals on this specimen are lustrous and well formed. These are regarded as some of the world's best Clinoatacamite examples. Inspection revealed that this specimen had broken and been repaired repaired prior to my purchase.

A fossil bivalve shell that has been completely replaced by pink Rhodochrosite. The shell is wonderfully preserved with both sides present and in perfect condition. One end has been cut to reveal the pink Rhodochrosite inside. The old iron mine where these were found is long closed and these are no longer being found. An undamaged, very well preserved example.

A good sized matrix Vesuvianite specimen, one of the best color combination examples for this type. The matrix is purple mangan Vesuvianite covered by an outer layer of yellow/green Vesuvianite crystals. Largest single crystal in the group is just over 2cm in length. The mine is now closed.

Well crystallized Prehnite from recent finds at the Merelani Tanzanite mines. Highly translucent with a greenish yellow color with large, chunky crystals. These recent Prehnites are the best ever found at the locality.
