Quartz crystals (smokey and Amethyst) replacing a long Anhydrite crystal from Brazil. This rare pseudomorph has alot of character. The shape of the former Anhydrite with Quartz crystals along the edges reminds me of a chain saw blade. Translucent to transparent, pristine with an abundance of life, a truely unique specimen. Comes with an old Ken Roberts label.  Ken is a mineral dealer noted for his high level of taste and aesthetics.

Colorful combination specimen of Inesite and associated minerals from the Daye Mine in China. Bright red rosettes of Inesite to 2cm in diameter are attached to clear Quartz crystals (most Inesite has a brown component that this one is lacking). Associated minerals include Pyrite and clear, tabular Apophyllite. Comes with a custom Lucite display stand.

Blocky, deep blue/green crystals of Apophyllite from India. Uncommonly high quality example of Apophyllite crystals colored blue/green due to inclusions of Celadonite. Minerals from the Deccan Plateau in India are abundant, but not like this. Pristine, uncommonly rare and aesthetic. Comes with a custom Lucite display stand.

Tall, slender crystal of Azurite partially pseudomorphed to Malachite with Arsentsumebite from Tsumeb. The crystal rises up off a 'matrix' of other partial crystals. The Azurite areas have glassy luster while the Malachite has a velvety luster, contributing to a contrast of textures and colors that work exceptionally well together.  A Tsumeb classic... Comes with a couple old labels, including one from Anton Berger (a German mineral dealer who specialized in Tsumeb specimens) and another that shows an old price of $1250.

Dozens of Cerussite 'snow flakes' on Malachite from Rum Jungle in Australia. The crystals rach 5mm in size and densely cover the green Malachite. In 1871 a bullock wagon delivering barrels of rum to construction gangs became bogged in jungle terrain near the head waters of the Finnis River. They proceeded to drink the rum in a week long party until they were rescued. The area became known as Rum Jungle.

Platy green crystals of Zeunerite from the Majuba Hill Mine in Nevada. Good green crystals on both sides of specimen. Ex. Erich Laskowski collection.

Crystals of brown Andradite on Orthoclase from Morocco. The main crystal is 1.2cm in size and pristine with neat overgrowths of greenish yellow. Steller undamaged specimen.

Large deep purple/red Almandine crystal in schist from Alaska. The crystal is 2.6cm wide and translucent in areas. There is some chipping on top and a small nick on the front left, but it is in overall good conditon and displays great.

Exceptionally rich Cylindrite specimen composed almost entirely of spray formations of Cylindrite crystals. The only macro sized crystals of this cylindrical crystal habit in the mineral world. Cylindrite is a sulfosalt mineral containing tin, lead, antimony and iron. This specimen is loaded with crystals, essentially nothing but Cylindrite with Wurtzite present between the crystals. Cluster of Dioptase crystals from the Tsumeb Mine in Namibia. This is an old specimen from the Dr. Abraham Feinberg collection composed of nothing but lustrous Dioptase crystals, most showing areas of transparency. The best crystal is doubly-terminated and 1.5cm long.

Unusual, old Elbaite crystal from Nuristan, Afghanistan. The upper half is water clear and colorless (Achroite) with a green band in the center and a light pink at the base. Pristine and complete with a multi-faceted termination. Comes with a number of old labels, including a Mitchell Gunnell label indicating he acquired it in 1973 from Walt Lidstrom. Weighs 9.38 grams. 

An unusual, distinct Elbaite crystal from Nuristan, Afghanistan. The upper half is colorless (Achroite) with a green band in the center and a light pink color at the base. Pristine and complete with a multi-faceted termination. Achroite is rare and one of the hardest types of Tourmaline to find. Weighs 9.55 grams. Ex. Dr. Abraham Feinberg collection.

Rare classic Elbaite crystal from the Hyakule Mine in Nepal. These Nepalese crystals are distinctive and now very hard to find, and this one is both good sized (many being thin 'pencil' style crystals) and highly transparent. The termination is green while the rest of the crystal is pink with bands of lighter and darker coloration. It's complete and undamaged except for one chip on the back. There are also some small Tourmaline crystals attached to part of the backside. Comes with an old Joe Cilen label with his hand drawn picture and description on the back. This is a great piece and better than photos - you will love this when you see it! Weighs 23 grams. 

Large, deep blue crystals of Benitoite on matrix. With crystals to 2.2cm, this is a visually impactful miniature sized Benitoite specimen. The crystals have strong blue color, lustrous faces, and are thick. The top of the large crystal has significant gem value (have you checked the price of Benitoite gemstones lately?).

Blocky, electric blue crystals of Azurite from the historic mines in Bisbee, Arizona. The Azurite occurs as a thin veneer over Malachite after Azurite pseudomorphs, giving the specimen the bright electirc blue coloration. This classic Azurite is similar to specimens from the Milpillas Mine in Mexico. There are areas where the Azurite does not cover the underlying Malachite which appears to be natural growth formations and not damage. It's well crystallized all around, even on the bottom.
