A beautiful specimen hosting sharp black babingtonite crystals with light green prehnite on Quartz points. It's a 'floater' with no apparent point of attachment and no visible damage to any of the species. This example is in pristine condition and is as superb classic from this Chinese locality.

This specimen has water-clear fluorite crystals positioned on massive white calcite. A few grey-black galena crystals and some very minor micro pyrite crystals are also in association. The calcite surfaces are smooth showing some evidence of etching. Ex. Frazier's Minerals.

Dark blue azurite crystals are seen intermixed with several Malachite pseudomorph after Azurite crystals from this world-class locality. If you view the specimen under magnification, there are at least two other species present with distinctly different microcrystals. Ex. Carl Acosta, Russel Jones collections.

Flattened sheet of copper crystals with a small bit of white matrix. This specimen consists of compact, flat dodecahedral habit copper crystals that still have much of their natural patina. Ex. Robert M. Philips Collection. An Arizona classic.

Clear modified cube Fluorite crystals are seen on the tops of gray galena crystals. Also in association are numerous groups of small silver colored Arsenopyrite crystals. A classic combination suite of species from Ojuela, with Fluorite on Galena being uncommon. Undamaged floater crystallized on all sides.

This is specimen with light blue, hexagonal, tabular crystals of gemmy aquamarine, on a three-dimensional matrix covered with bladed muscovite. Numerous large glassy crystals to 5cm wide, very clean.

Well-formed tabular, compound stacked Pyrrhotite crystals rest in a matrix of milky quartz and Calcite on this outstanding cabinet specimen from the Nikolaevskiy Mine at Dal'negorsk. It is, essentially, a 'floater' with no visible point of contact. No damage to any of the main crystals. Largest single crystal measures 3cm wide.

Several rich green color, gemmy, dodecahedral Demantoid crystals with minor micro Stilbite crystals on matrix. The largest Demantoid crystal measures about 1cm across. Undamged, gemmy crystals. Very aesthetic.

Here's an old English classic that features a large 1.8cm 'ball' of tan color Siderite crystals on a contrasting darker matrix of Cookeite from Cornwall. A very clean, aesthetic old-timer with numerous provenance labels including William Severance, Carter Rich, and Arnold Fisher. An old Trinity Minerals label shows a price of $300.

Milpillas has produced some of the most beautiful Azurite specimens in recent time. Here's a matrix specimen with a 2cm wide group of dark, highly lustrous, inky blue crystals. All of the Azurite crystals are complete and sharply terminated.

A display specimen of white Calcite crystals hosting a few dark black Hematite crystal groups from this classic locality. An older example from The Charlie Key Collection disbursed a number of years ago. One old label shows a former price of $600. Lots of lustrous, clear and undamaged Calcite crystals and I can only find a couple missing along the back edge.

A rich green, highly gemmy and lustrous, single crystal of Diopside from Merelani Hills with sharp termination. This is the best color for Merelani Diopside.

Milpillas has produced some of the most beautiful Azurite specimens in recent time. Here's 3-dimensional cabinet size matrix specimen with dark, highly lustrous, blue crystals. The Azurite actually covers the top of the matrix and crystals grew over the edge on one side. The opposite side shows green Malachite coverage. Only very minor contact to the Azurite crystals, most of which is natural wall contact. An excellent example.

Group of Copper crystals coated by Cuprite. The Cuprite covers most of the surface of the Copper and is crystallized in areas. There is also black Heterogenite and green Malachite present in areas. Large and colorful Copper specimen found in 2018.

Large branching group of Copper crystals coated by Cuprite. The Cuprite covers most of the surface of the Copper and is crystallized in areas. There is also black Heterogenite, green Malachite, and a blue mineral (Shattuckite ?) present in areas. Large and colorful Copper specimen found in 2018.
