Uncommon for both overall size and the great isolation of the crystal clusters. These are regarded as the world's best Clinoatacamite specimens.

Fine quality elongated Tsavorite crystal from recent production (2017) that has been producing these stange, elongated crystals. Many of the new crystals, like this one, exhibit a faden line running up the C-axis. This is an undamaged floater cluster of a few interconnected crystals.

A real GEM of a Tsavorite crystal. Totally transparent and crystalized on all sides, even the bottom. Some Tsavorites grow perched atop the edges of Graphite crystals which allows crystal faces to form on the bottom as well as the top and sides. There are residual thin black grooves on the bottom where the Graphite crystals were, otherwise fully crystallized.

Double terminated floater crystal with purple core and green/yellow terminations. Although it has lighter purple color than most, the central area has good transparency, which is uncommon. Ex. Charlie Key.

T697 - Prehnite $ 350 (=~ CAN$ 0)

Three interconnected, curving and lustrous Prehnite crystals. Although many other localities produce good Prehnite, they are usually in rounded clusters or platy masses, not distinct individual crystals such as this. Nowhere, to my knowledge, produces as good crystals as those found at the Jeffrey Mine, but they are not well known because there just aren't many available, in fact this is only the second one I have owned. Ex. Charlie Key.

T717 - Copper 'Skull' $ 1200 (=~ CAN$ 0)
Keeweenaw Peninsula, Michigan, USA
cabinet - 12 x 8 x 8 cm

Large, exceptional Copper 'Skull', a cast of Copper formed when Copper coats a rounded nodule in a conglomerate with the nodule later eroding away leaving the "skull'. This one is both good sized and exceptionally well formed (complete) and preserved. Many get smashed or dented or are only partial hemispheres. I'd say this one has about 80% coverage of what was the former nodule.
