New 2017, limited production from the Commander Mine. These crystals are solid green and not bi-colors like last year. However the green is very rich and bright. Slight edge chipping otherwise complete and undamaged. A gemmy complete crystal that weighs 5.7 grams.

Rare faden Tsavorite crystal, glassy and well crystallized all around. This style of Tsavorite is new this year and there has been a fair production of it. While not as large as they get, this crystal is on the large side, and the quality is as good as it gets.

Intergrown pair of gem Grossular crystals on Diopside. The crystals are transparent with great color. The small crystal has a small chip, otherwise undamaged.

Undamaged cluster of red Hematite included Quartz crystals. Good luster.

Old specimen of colorless Beryl. A tabular crystal that has been heavily etched though it retains some of the original crystal faces. Valued at $350.

Fine example of double terminated 'Beta Quartz' on Hematite crystals. A UK classic that is undamaged except for a couple places along the edges where it broke away from the host rock. The Quartz crystals are glassy and lustrous and, along with the bright metallic Hematite, give off lots of sparkle. A fine example out of an old collection.

Cluster of large, partially etched Azurite crystals from Tsumeb. Fully crystallized all around, even part of the bottom is recrystallized! There is a small indentation showing Malachite on the lower front face (possibly damage, possibly natural), and the lower backside of the back crystal has some indentations/contact from another former Azurite crystal. Otherwise good all around. These good large Tsumeb Azurites are very hard to come by now.

A 7cm double-terminated Aragonite crystal on smaller Aragonites. Great color on this old piece.

Floater cluster of Cuprite octahedrons. Sharp and well formed. Slight chipping and an indentation from other crystals, otherwise complete all around and undamaged.

Gem yellow Apatite crystals in matrix. The main crystal is 3cm tall.

Terminated single gem crystal of Chrome Tourmaline which is a chromium and vanadium rich Dravite. Complete all around with deep emerald green coloration in the upper half and a more olive green in the lower half. Fantastic color and mostly gem quality with just a few interanl veils. Undamaged. From a spectacular pocket opened in 2016. Weighs 3.1 grams.
