T933 - Tsavorite with Pyrite $ 600

Formation of elongated Tsavorite crystals that grade up in size towards the top, with attached tiny Pyrite crystals. Glassy and well crystallized all around. This style of Tsavorite is new this year and highly unusual, and a wonderful surprise from the Merelani mines. It's essentially a floater, with a small point of contact at the thick end. At the right angle it looks like a lightning bolt. An amazing specimen!!!

Formation of multiple elongated Tsavorite crystal groups with attached sphene, diopside, and Pyrite crystals. Excellent color on the Tsavorite, glassy and well crystallized all around. This style of Tsavorite is new this year and highly unusual, and a wonderful surprise from the Merelani mines. It's essentially a floater, with only the very tip of one part of the bottom as a possible point of contact. An amazing specimen!!!

Gem purple Kunzite crystal with the backside coated by tan Stilbite crystals. A beautiful, well terminated Kunzite on it's own, with added color and flair due to the Stilbite. Pegmatitic Stilbite is uncommon. Well terminated but priced lower because one face is a cleavage, but can be displayed perfectly from the Stilbite covered side.

Glassy single Apatite crystal from the famous Siglo XX Mine. The Apatite appears to be clear but colored grey due to inclusions of needle-like crystals of Jamesonite. Old dealer price was $400 on this unusual thumbnail.

Natural yellow and purple/blue bi-color Tanzanite crystal. Complete all around and undamaged except for one tiny edge chip, with nice gem zones. Unheated.

Well crystallized group of Copper crystals. Undamaged floater group good on all sides. With minor amounts of associated Calcite.

Thin matrix covered with bright green garnet crystals. The garnets are over 1cm in size and many are transparent. This is a great example out of an old collection with good coverage of crystals on a thin flat matrix. Most crystals are good though some damaged crystals keep the price much lower than it otherwise would be.
