Terminated single gem crystal of Chrome Tourmaline which is a chromium and vanadium rich Dravite. Complete all around with deep emerald green coloration and gemmy!! This is one the best I've seen of this all green style from the 'Commander Mine' find in 2016. There is unfortunately part of the crystal missing from the lower back side as seen in the third photo. Regardless, it is a spectacular crystal that would command twice as much or more if perfect, the color and clarity is just that good, and it can be displayed without showing the missing area. Last photo is backlit. Weighs 17.2 grams.

Single, complete Magnesio Axinite crystal. These are only found spradically at Merelani, and even when found, are mostly just fragments of crystals. This is an uncommonly complete crystal, relatively undamaged with just a little chatter along one edge.

Single Diopside with the top chrome green coloration. A funny thing about Merelani Diopsides is that the highly transparent crystals have lighter color, and crystals like this one, with the top color, have less transparency. There are two indentations from other crystals on one narrow side, otherwise complete and undamaged all around.

Outstanding small thumbnail composed of two interconnected GEM Tsavorite crystal on Graphite. Flawless gem Tsavorite crystals are hard to come by because the cutting value is so high they are almost always cut as gemstones. This specimen has two glass-like, undamaged crystals, though one has a indentation where another Tsavorite was formerly located.

Crystallized Graphite with light green Diopside and vivid green Tsavorite crystals. Tsavorite crystals are 8mm and very gemmy with excellent color. Undamaged, uncommon and showy Merelani combo specimen.

A recent surprise from Merelani are these elongated clusters of Tsavorite crystals, some of which, like this one, appear to be faden growth. Complete group of crystals with glassy luster and a distinct faden line running up through the center.
