E685 - Azurite $ 150

Floater cluster of Azurite from the famous Chessy mines of France. These mines are long closed and I understand these specimens were found in the 1800s. This specimen features thick blocky crystals, one of the best thumbnails I've seen. There are no points of contact, a complete floater and undamaged except for one shallow chip.

Floater cluster of Azurite from the famous Chessy mines of France. These mines are long closed and I understand these specimens were found in the 1800s. There are no points of contact, a complete floater. Great deep blue, uniform color but with some damage, though it still presents well.

Floater cluster of Azurite from the famous Chessy mines of France. These mines are long closed and I understand these specimens were found in the 1800s. This specimen features large blocky crystals. There is one area that could be a contact with former matrix, otherwise complete and undamaged.

SA603 - Uvite on Quartz $ 300

Although small, this specimen has alot of character - note that the Tourmaline is not merely attached to the outside surface of the Quartz, it is actually cupped within the tip. The 7mm wide golden colored Uvite is set rightinto the tip of a Quartz crystal.

Thick, blocky Azurite crystal displaying a bright 'electric' blue coloration under lighting. There is one smal chip along the back edge, otherwise perfect. Ex. Carl Acosta collection.

Bright green cuprian Smithsonite crystals covering matrix. The matrix form lots of hills and valleys, all covered by a carpet of green.

Complete single crystal with great form and smooth surface luster. Undamaged.

Translucent, deep red/orange single crystal of Wurtzite. These Wurtzites from Merelani are widely considered the best in the world and are no longer being found, this crystal being from a 2013 find.

Thick chisel-shaped crystals of deep forest green Brochantite crystals on matrix. A few of the crystals to the lower right grew against the pocket/seam wall otherwise the crystals all have wonderful sharp terminations. These are thick, robust crystals from a 2014 find and are much different in style than earlier finds from the mine which were usually more fragile, hair-like crystals.

Bright, electric blue Azurite crystals from the watercourse pocket. Two larger intergrown crystals form the backdrop for a number of smaller crystals projecting forward. Undamaged.
