T298 - Tourmaline $ 1250 (=~ CAN$ 1715) Barra de Salinas, Minas Gerais, Brazil miniature - 4.6 x 1.2 x 1 cm Brightly colored watermelon Tourmaline with a flat, glassy termination. In addition to the strong red and green colors, there is a small yellow zone between the red and green. One very tiny nick on the termination edge, otherwise perfect and undamaged. Weighs 12.6 grams.
T299 - Tourmaline $ 460 (=~ CAN$ 631) Barra de Salinas, Minas Gerais, Brazil thumbnail - 2.5 x 1.0 x 0.8 cm Brightly colored watermelon Tourmaline with a flat, glassy termination. In addition to the strong red and green colors, there is a small yellow zone between the red and green. Perfect and undamaged. Weighs 4.6 grams.
T311 - Aquamarine $ 400 (=~ CAN$ 549) Ambatondrazaka, Madagascar small cabinet - 6.5 x 1.7 x 1.3 cm Single Aquamarine crystal with good medium blue color. Double terminated and lightly etched. No damage.
T315 - Wulfenite $ 290 (=~ CAN$ 398) M'Fouti District, Republic of Congo thumbnail - 2 x 1.8 x 1.0 cm Single translucent yellow crystal on matrix. Undamaged though back edge is contacted where it grew against the pocket wall.
T328 - Chrome Tourmaline $ 650 (=~ CAN$ 892) Landani, Tanzania thumbnail - 2 x 1.4 x 1.4 cm Single chromium and vanadium rich Dravite crystal with exceptional color. Many of these are very dark, this one really explodes with saturated deep green color, way beter than most. Undamaged.
T329 - Chrome Tourmaline $ 350 (=~ CAN$ 480) Landani, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.6 x 1.4 x 1.2 cm Single chromium and vanadium rich Dravite crystal with an unusually elongated form for the locality. The body is dark green with vivid, emerald green color at the terminations. Undamaged.
T346 - Szenicsite $ 750 (=~ CAN$ 1029) Jardinera #1 Mine, Atacama Province, Chile thumbnail - 3.0 x 2.0 x 2 cm Dense grouping of bright green platy crystals of the rare mineral Szenicsite. A good thumbnail of a mineral that is both rare and attractive. Szenicsite is named after American mineral collectors Terry and Marissa Szenics,
T358 - Euchroite $ 500 (=~ CAN$ 686) Lubjetova, Slovakia small cabinet - 7.5 x 5 x 4 cm Deep green Euchroite crystals in various places on a stained Quartz matrix. Main area is 3.5cm wide with some distinct crystals to 5mm in size. From the type locality for this rare copper arsenate.
T366 - Apatite on Quartz $ 350 (=~ CAN$ 480) Kunar Prov., Afghanistan cabinet - 10.5 x 7.5 x 2 cm Large, flat tabular Quartz crystal that is well crystallized with smooth and glassy faces on one side, and with purple Apatite crystals coating the other side. Big and showy specimen. Purple Apatite is among my favorite of all minerals.
T374 - Azurite $ 350 (=~ CAN$ 480) Bisbee, Arizona, USA miniature - 4.5 x 3 x 3 cm Four sharp, well defined crystals of Azurite on a Limonite matrix. The crystals reach 1cm in size and are undamaged. Comes with an Arizon-Sonora Desert Museum label.
T378 - Apatite with Fluorite $ 450 (=~ CAN$ 618) Panasquiera, Castelo Branco, Portugal miniature - 4.9 x 3 x 3 cm Glassy green Apatite crystals. The addition of purple Fluorite makes this a really colorful piece. Slight chipping on one edge, otherwise undamaged.
T384 - Apatite with Muscovite $ 450 (=~ CAN$ 618) Panasquiera, Castelo Branco, Portugal miniature - 5 x 3.2 x 2 cm Showy cluster of glassy green Apatite crystals. Bright and lively crystals. Undamaged. The camera does not pick up the green well and the brightness is not well conveyed in photos, thus this is way better in person than the photos may indicate.
T385 - Smithsonite $ 1500 (=~ CAN$ 2058) Tsumeb, Namibia small cabinet - 8 x 6.5 x 4 cm Open vug filled with large, double-terminated Smithsonite crystals. The Smithsonite are a light pinkish orange in color and reach 1.9cm in size.
T387 - Rhodochrosite $ 350 (=~ CAN$ 480) Mont St. Hilaire, Quebec, Canada thumbnail - 1.8 x 1 x 0.3 cm Twinned Rhodochrosite crystal, a floater with no points of attachment. The color is just outstanding. This was recently released from the Charlie Key collection and it is clear he saved some good ones. Previous twinned Mont St. Hilaire Rhodos I've seen have all been a darker brick red color and opaque. This one is bright red and translucent through most of the specimen. Undamaged. A small amount of minerals attached to one edge.
T423 - Tourmaline $ 650 (=~ CAN$ 892) Stak Nala, Skardu, Pakistan small cabinet - 5.3 x 3 x 2 cm Undamaged cluster of double-terminated Tourmaline crystals with attached Albite. The crystals have a rare yellow coloration on one end and are green on the other ends.
