FM421 - Veszelyite on Hemimorphite $ 500 (=~ CAN$ 686) Palabanda quarries, Mfouati, Bouenza Department, Republic of the Congo miniature - 5 x 3.5 x 3 cm Fine specimen of deep blue crystals of Veszelyite on sky blue Hemimorphite. The Veszelyite crystals reach 4mm in size almost completely cover the Hemimorphite, though some 'fingers' of Hemimorphite stick up through the veszelyite. The locality is a former Limestone quarry with Lead, Zinc, and Copper mineralization that closed in 2018.
FM422 - Veszelyite on Hemimorphite $ 380 (=~ CAN$ 521) Palabanda quarries, Mfouati, Bouenza Department, Republic of the Congo cabinet - 10.5 x 7.5 x 4.5 cm Isolated deep blue crystals of Veszelyite on blue Hemimorphite. The Veszelyite crystals reach 6mm in size. The smaller crystals are sharply formed and the larger crystals are present near the upper right. The Hemimorphite forms a botryoidal surface with a beautiful color contrast to the Veszelyite. Good larger sized example from the find. The locality is a former Limestone quarry with Lead, Zinc, and Copper mineralization that closed in 2018.
FM423 - Veszelyite on Hemimorphite $ 1500 (=~ CAN$ 2058) Palabanda quarries, Mfouati, Bouenza Department, Republic of the Congo thumbnail - 3.1 x 2.2 x 1.8 cm Fine thumbnail-sized specimen of deep blue crystals of Veszelyite on sky blue Hemimorphite. Sharply formed, isolated crystals make this one of my favorite specimens I've seen from the find. The crystals reach 6mm in size and are prefect except for a tiny chip on the tip of one crystal. Still, this one is spectacular. Micro greenish/blue crystals of Kipushite, a rare copper and zinc phosphate species, are present on the Hemimorphite. The locality is a former Limestone quarry with Lead, Zinc, and Copper mineralization that closed in 2018.
FM424 - Veszelyite on Hemimorphite $ 1000 (=~ CAN$ 1372) Palabanda quarries, Mfouati, Bouenza Department, Republic of the Congo miniature - 4 x 2.5 x 1.2 cm Deep blue crystals of Veszelyite on sky blue Hemimorphite. The Veszelyite occurs as both larger crystal groups and a single isolated 5mm crystal. Micro greenish/blue crystals of Kipushite, a rare copper and zinc phosphate species, are present on the Hemimorphite. The locality is a former Limestone quarry with Lead, Zinc, and Copper mineralization that closed in 2018.

FM194 - Veszelyite on Hemimorphite $ 180 (=~ CAN$ 247) Palabanda quarries, Mfouati, Bouenza Department, Republic of the Congo small cabinet - 7 x 4.5 x 3 cm Deep blue crystals of Veszelyite on sky blue Hemimorphite. The Veszelyite form large, sparkling crystal groups in areas and the Hemimorphite is highly translucent. Mined in 2022. FM332 - Calcite $ 400 (=~ CAN$ 549) Egremont, Cumberland, England small cabinet - 8.3 x 3 x 2.2 cm Transparent twinned Calcite crystal from England with an unusual canoe-shaped form. Well crystallized all around and in near pristine condition. Ex. Tim Sherburn, Bill and Carol Smith collections, acquired from the Carnegie Museum in 1954.
