Uncommon matrix specimen of Cafarsite with a well placed 8mm crystal. Cafarsite is a rare calcium, titanium, iron, manganese arsenate mineral. From the type locality.

Single Bournonite crystal from Japan. The crystals has high silvery metallic luster. From MINDAT: 'This district produced the first copper mined in Japan, in the year 707 C.E., early in the reign of Empress Gemmei.'

Seldomly seen specimen of pink Ephesite crystals from the Glosam Mine in South Africa. The crystals are a translucent red/pink and form tapering, hexagonal crystals to 6mm in size along a narrow Manganite matrix. Ephesite is a rare lithium sodium aluminum silicate mineral.

Single transparent Prehnite crystal from the Jeffrey Mine, a locality better known for Grossular and Vesuvianite. However, crystallized Prehnite is not common (it's usually found as botryoidal masses), and some of the best Prehnite crystals are found here at the Jeffrey Mine. Ex. Dennis Ewell collection.
