TS194 - Hausmanite with Ettringite, Andradite $ 240 N'Chwanning Mine, Kuruman, South Africa miniature - 3.8 x 3 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fine quality Hausmanite (sharply formed with very bright, satiny luster) with an attached pale yellow Ettringite crystal on red Andradite.
TZ252 - Prehnite $ 300 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 4 x 2.5 x 1.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Blue Prehnite specimen about as good as these get form wise as most of these are massess of crystals with at least some damage around the edges. This is a clean group front and back, nearly a floater with some traces of Graphite on the bottom where it was attached. These have a nice color change between shades of blue in different lighting.

SA702 - Ludlamite $ 600 Huanuni Mine, Oruro Dept., Bolivia thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.0 x 1.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() 1.4cm crystal of Ludlamite on matrix with Siderite. Aesthtics and quality are superb, undamaged.
SA705 - Apatite with Pyrite $ 400 Julcani Mine, Peru thumbnail - 2.8 x 0.9 x 0.8 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hard to find, old time specimen of yellow/green Apatite associated with Pyrite. The apatite has good luster, is double-terminated, perfect and undamaged.
AF558 - Gaudefroyite $ 600 N'Chwanning Mine, Kuruman, South Africa miniature - 4.5 x 3.5 x 1.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Thick Gaudefroyite crystals on Manganite matrix. The crystals reach 13 x 7mm in size. Rare piece.
TZ283 - Sphalerite with Graphite, Calcite Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 3.6 x 2.0 x 1.7 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Floater group of Sphalerite crystals in excellent condition with attached Graphite and backside and bottom coated by Calcite crystals. Complete and undamaged. A really nice example and not a common Merelani specimen. Original list price was $380.
TZ284 - Tanzanite on Calcite $ 650 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania small cabinet - 6.5 x 6 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large Calcite crystal with attached Graphite and gem Tanzanite. The Calcite is clear with an outer coating of translucent, satiny Calcite. The Tanzanite is 1.6cm long, gemmy and undamaged.
PAK112 - Quartz North Waziristan Prov., Pakistan small cabinet - 9.3 x 4 x 1.5 cm ![]() ![]() Floater specimen of faden Quartz with the majority of the specimen a flat, tabular form. Undamaged.
NA954 - Serandite with Analcime $ 480 Mont St.-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada miniature - 3.5 x 1.1 x 1.1 cm ![]() ![]() Single well terminated Serandite crystal, more elongated in form than most, with the classic association of white Analcime crystals.
A304 - Calcite Daye Mine, Hubei Prov., China miniature - 5 x 3.5 x 2.2 cm ![]() ![]() Translucent yelow/green Calcite crystal from a new find. An unusual neon color similar to Brazilianite color. Only 2 flats of this material were available at the show with one Chinese dealer, and 90% of those were only partial crystals, this one being one of the best complete crystals.
E519 - Manganite $ 2500 Ilfeld, Thuringen, Germany small cabinet - 6.5 x 4.5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Cluster of large crystals of Manganite, with individual crystals to 2.5cm tall and 1.2cm across on the terminations. Ex. Ralph Merril and W.F. Davidson collections. The Merril label indicates it was purchased in 1954 for $350.

E354 - Cuprite $ 150 Poteryaevskoe Mine, Rubtsovskoe deposit, Siberia, Russia thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.0 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Intergrown pair of sharp Cuprite crystals. Complete all around with some contacting at the base.
E355 - Cuprite $ 200 Poteryaevskoe Mine, Rubtsovskoe deposit, Siberia, Russia thumbnail - 2.2 x 2.2 x 2.2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Intergrown pair of sharp Cuprite crystals. A complete floater but with a couple areas where other crystals were intergrown. Tiny amounts of copper and silver attached.
