Blocky, lustrous 2.5cm single Azurite crystal on matrix. Sharp, crisp edges with an area of 'electric' blue color on the main face.

This specimen is just loaded with crystals - prismatic blue Azurite crystals, elongated green crystals of Bayldonite after Mimetite pseudomorphs, transparent, platy Wulfenite crystals, Malachite, Rosasite, and undoubtedly more. It's one of those specimens that is instantly recognizable as being from Tsumeb due to it's very colorful mixture of minerals.

Botryoidal, satiny yellow Mimetite. This is old material rarely seen now in this quality. It's almost solid Mimetite with just a small amount of matrix on the backside. It's also in pristine condition, perfect except for a small chip at the very bottom as seen in photos.

Large, deep blue crystals of Benitoite on a schist matrix with white Natrolite. Large crystals to 2.1 cm on edge that show areas of transparency (therer are some areas of gem rough quality).

Large, lustrous crystals of deep blue Lazulite, the most well known of the 'Yukon phosphate' minerals found at this locality. Individual crystals are good sized for the locality reaching 1.2cm.

Metallic Stibnite crystals on matrix with white Calcite. An excellent example from this lesser known, defunct locality. The McLaughlin Mine is a former Au-Ag-Pb-Hg-Sb mine discovered 1865 and operated until 1945.

Highly aesthetic sprays of golden Celestite atop a Sulfur matrix. Translucent to transparent crystals that shoot out in all directions, equally good from any side. There are some broken tips here and there but regardless this is a beauty.

Large single Azurite crystal with a small attached crystal that is altering to Malachite. There is also some alteration to Malachite under the surface of the main crystal that gives areas of 'electric' blue color. Fully terminated and complete all around. There is one chipped area on the side with the small attached crystal (though most of what you see in the third photo is natural etched growth), otherwise it's undamaged. Comes with an old Geary Murdock collection label.

GEM golden Apatite crystals from Medina. These are famous for their clarity and indeed this specimen looks like a cluster of faceted gemstones with water-clear intergrown perfect crystals. Even the small book of mica is transparent! It's complete all around with the point of contact on the right side as photographed, the thicker left side is terminated with a multitude of tiny crystal faces.

White Calcite coated with a dusting of greenish brown Descloizite hosting 2 crystals of orange Wulfenite. Individual crystals reach 2cm in size. The crystals are chunky and undamaged. Ex. Don Boydston collection.
