AU717 - Liebigite $ 450 Schwartzwalder Mine (Ralston Creek Mine), Ralston Buttes Mining District, Jefferson County, Colorado, USA thumbnail - 1.3 x 0.7 x 0.6 cm Single crystal of translucent yellow Liebigite. Bright, almost neon yellow in color. Complete all around and undamaged. Rarely available USA classic.
AU719 - Xenotime $ 180 Ibitiara, Bahia, Brazil thumbnail - 1.5 x 0.7 x 0.6 cm Fine single Xenotime crystal. Well terminated and translucent brown with transparency at the tip.
AU720 - Pyrosmaltite $ 90 Nordmark, Varmland, Sweden thumbnail - 2.2 x 1 x 0.6 cm Small, well formed tan hexagonal crystals of Pyrosmaltite on matrix. The old label notes mica and a white unknown as also present. A rarity.
AU351 - Villiaumite $ 200 Aris Quarries, Windhoek, Khomas Region, Namibia thumbnail - 0.8 x 0.7 x 0.4 cm Set of 6 transparent orange Villiaumite crystal from the open pit phonolite quarries in Aris, Namibia. These quarries, along with the Kola peninsula in Russia, are the source of the world's best Villiaumite. Although larger, the Kola specimens are a darker purple red and are typically just cleavages rather than crystals. These bright orange, transparent crystals are far more aesthetic for my taste. These crystals have etched outer surfaces and are internally transparent (faceted gemstones are known from this occurrence). The crystals in this set reach 1.2cm wide.

AU364 - Spinel $ 60 Mahenge, Morogoro, Tanzania thumbnail - 2 x 1.7 x 1.4 cm Single twinned Spinel crystal from Tanzania. A complete spinel-twinned crystal, translucent purple with minor edge chipping.
AU365 - Chambersite (7 crystals) $ 100 Venice Salt Dome, Louisiana, USA thumbnail - 0.4 x 0.4 x 0.4 cm Seven crystals of Chambersite. All are complete tetrahedrons, some with modified terminations, and two that are clusters of crystals. Largest is 4mm on edge. The crystals are translucent purple in color. A rarity that are also quite beautiful with an amethyst-like color. Collected by Fred Pough in 1970. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection.

AU723 - Herderite $ 1500 Green Cloud Mine, Chihuahua Valley, San Diego Co., California, USA thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.3 x 1.5 cm An outstanding single translucent to transparent Herderite crystal from the Green Cloud Mine. Complete all around crystal with light etching and a smaller crystal attached to one face. This mine is the source of California's finest Hydroxylherderite specimens, and not many were found. Super piece for a San Diego Co. collection. Ex. Al Ordway collection.
AU606 - Spinel $ 300 Mahenge, Morogoro, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.5 x 1.5 cm Sharp, red Spinel crystal on matrix from Tanzania. The crystal is 2.5cm in size with excellent red color.
AU776 - Davidite $ 280 Australia thumbnail - 1.2 x 1 x 1 cm Well formed single octahedral Davidite crystal from Australia. Chocolate brown in color and in excellent condition all around.
AU778 - Anglesite $ 450 Tsumeb, Namibia thumbnail - 3 x 2 x 1.5 cm Sharply formed single white Anglesite from Tsumeb. The crystal is translucent to transparent with a slightly dimpled surface. Complete and undamaged on both sides.
AU779 - Smithsonite $ 750 Tsumeb, Namibia thumbnail - 2.6 x 0.9 x 0.8 cm Elongated single Smithsonite crystal. Complete all around and undamaged with areas of transparency.
AU791 - Anhydrite $ 400 Stassfurt, Saxony, Germany thumbnail - 1.8 x 1.5 x 1.3 cm Complete single pale lavender Anhydrite crystal from an old potash mine in Germany. Quality undamaged crystal. Specimen shows a price of $350 from long ago.
