K268 - Epidote $ 90 Rehoboth, Namibia thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.5 x 1.8 cm Bright, glassy Epidote crystals from a less commonly seen locality. Translucent to transparent crystals.
K269 - Sulfohalite $ 140 Searles Lake, California thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.5 x 2 cm This is as fine a Sulfohalite crystals as I've ever seen. Sharply formed with good yellow color and translucency. The bottom (sixth) point is incomplete but not damaged.
K300 - Fire Opal gemstone $ 260 Brazil thumbnail - 1.8 x 1.3 x 1 cm Orange fire opal gemstone. Appears very clean with no inclusions or edge chips. This was bought about 25 years ago and shows an old price of $139. Weighs 11.35 carats.
MM109 - Ilvaite $ 150 Dalnegorsk, Russia thumbnail - 3 x 2.3 x 2.1 cm Chunky single Ilvaite crystal, complete all around and undamaged. Good luster and a full sized thumbnail.
K427 - Rhodolite gemstone $ 350 Tanzania thumbnail - 0.8 x 0.8 x 0.8 cm Well saturated red Rhodolite garnet gemstone weighing 4.14 carats. I bought this from gem dealer Rick Kennedy about 20 years ago for about $250.
K662 - Ettringite $ 150 N'Chwanning Mine, Kuruman, South Africa thumbnail - 1.3 x 0.6 x 0.6 cm Single, well terminated crystal of bright yellow Etringite.
K661 - Gaudefroyite $ 100 Wessels Mine, Cape Prov., South Africa thumbnail - 0.9 x 0.7 x 0.5 cm Stout single crystal. Well terminated, larger than most.
K677 - Pyromorphite $ 300 Bunker Hill Mine, Kellogg, Idaho, USA thumbnail - 2 x 2 x 1 cm Bright yellow/green crystals of Pyromorphite. Fine undamaged curving crystals over a 'matrix' of orange arsenian Pyromorphite.
K655 - Alanite $ 125 Mina Tiro Estrella, Capitan Mts, Lincoln Co., New Mexico, USA thumbnail - 0.9 x 0.8 x 0.2 cm Well formed single Allanite crystal. This locality is best known for it's twinned Smokey Quartz crystals, but it also produced these fine quality Allanite crystals.

K717 - Tsavorite on Diopside $ 75 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 1.2 x 0.8 x 0.7 cm Elongated groups of Tsavorite crystals intergrown with a glassy, terminated Diopside crystal. There are also small Pyrite crystals associated.
K718 - Tsavorite on Graphite $ 275 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 1.5 x 1 x 1 cm High quality, glassy 1cm Tsavorite crystal with good color on a Graphite matrix. Undamaged crystal that is transparent. There are some shallow grooves on the surface caused by former Graphite crystals.
K654 - Siegenite $ 200 Level 4, Buick Mine, Iron Co., Missouri, USA thumbnail - 1.5 x 1.1 x 1.1 cm Ten octahedral Siegenite crystals to 4mm on matrix of Marcasite. Siegenite is a rare cobalt nickel sulfide. High quality, aesthetic rare mineral.
K797 - Spinel $ 225 Mahenge, Morogoro, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.3 x 1.8 cm Pink Spinel from Mahenge is world famous for incredible faceted gemstones and much of what is found is used for gems. This is an uncommon, nearly complete octahedral crystal with just a small amount of chipping on one tip, otherwise undamaged and lustrous all around. Weighs 13.37 grams.
K808 - Spinel $ 160 Mahenge, Morogoro, Tanzania thumbnail - 2 x 1.9 x 1 cm A 1.2cm pink Spinel on Calcite. The Spinel has great color and is translucent with transparent zones. Undamaged.
