Fantastic single Chrome Tourmaline from Tanzania. 'Chrome Tourmaline' is a vanandium and chromium rich variety of the species Dravite. This crystal has 3 distinct color zones - a bright, vivid green at the termination, a darker green at the center, and a yellow green at the base. This is one of about 5 similar crystals I purchased years ago and I've never seen another similar since then. Weighs 35 grams.

Large single crystal likely from the Milpillas Mine. This was shipped to me directly from Mexico from a miner who claimed it was from Sierra Rica, however it looks more like a Milpillas Mine crystal. At any rate, it's a big, showy single crystal crystallized on all sides, front and back, with some bits of matrix intergrown in areas.

Classic large sized, complete and terminated 'watermelon' Tourmaline with a blue/green over red coloration. Slight chipping along termination edge, otherwise undamaged. Gem quality golden brown crystal complete all around. In excellent condition for this locality, with only some minor edge chipping. Fully transparent internally, so much so you see right through it and some of what looks like inclusions in the photos are really just shadows from some irregular surface areas on the lower backside of the crystal.

Cluster of thick rhombs of red Rhodochrosite. This is from a recent find and we are more accustomed to seeing small wafer-like, twin Rhodo crystals from here, rather than these large, thick crystals. Crystals reach 2.5cm wide. Undamaged with some etched areas, mostly on the backside.
