B574 - Smithsonite $ 400 Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 5 x 4.5 x 3 cm Elongated, transparent Smithsonite crystals rising up out of a shallow vug in matrix. Crystals reach 1.5cm tall.
B595 - Calcite $ 120 Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 4 x 3 x 2.5 cm Sharp, highly lustrous Calcite rhomb, 2.4cm on a colorful matrix of Dolomite. The old label dates the specimen back to at least 1977.
B648 - Copper $ 350 Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia miniature - 4.3 x 1 x 1 cm Cluser of Copper crystals with a large spinel twin of 3cm forming the base for additional smaller crystals. Good patina and in excellent condition.
B668 - Inesite $ 250 N'Chwanning Mine, Kuruman, South Africa miniature - 5 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm Pink Inesite crystals covering matrix, but not your typical druse of evenly sized crystals. This particular find produced specimens with tufts of Inesite rising above the smaller crystals.
B686 - Azurite $ 350 Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico miniature - 4 x 3.8 x 3.5 cm Bright and glassy bladed Azurite crystals on matrix. The crystals are superb and reach 1.6cm wide. Fine and undamaged.
B751 - Cinnabar $ 450 Tongren, Guizhou Province, China miniature - 4.8 x 4 x 3.5 cm A splendid deep red, double-terminated Cinnabar crystal set in a well proportioned matrix covered by Dolomite crystals. The Cinnabar crystal is 1.8cm long. There are areas of stepped growth on the front faces, but not damage.
B842 - Gersdorffite with Annabergite $ 300 Bou Azzer, Ouarzazate Province, Morocco miniature - 4.5 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm Bright metallic grey crystals of Gersdorffite from Morocco. Fine quality crystals of Gersdorffite and a great display specimn for the species with bright green Annabergite adding good color contrast.
B854 - Chrome Tourmaline $ 1200 Landanai, Tanzania miniature - 3.8 x 2.5 x 2.3 cm Fantastic single Chrome Tourmaline from Tanzania. 'Chrome Tourmaline' is a vanandium and chromium rich variety of the species Dravite. This crystal has 3 distinct color zones - a bright, vivid green at the termination, a darker green at the center, and a yellow green at the base. This is one of about 5 similar crystals I purchased years ago and I've never seen another similar since then. Weighs 35 grams.
B907 - Cerussite with Mottramite $ 450 Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 3.3 x 2.5 x 1.5 cm Classic and now hard to find 'snowflake' Cerussite crystal with Mottramite. Complete and undamaged. Ex Willy Isreal collection.
D111 - Azurite $ 300 Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico miniature - 4.8 x 4 x 2 cm Large single crystal likely from the Milpillas Mine. This was shipped to me directly from Mexico from a miner who claimed it was from Sierra Rica, however it looks more like a Milpillas Mine crystal. At any rate, it's a big, showy single crystal crystallized on all sides, front and back, with some bits of matrix intergrown in areas.
D128 - Fluorite $ 400 Mina Oujela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico miniature - 5 x 3 x 2.8 cm Transparent purple/blue crystals from recent finds. Glass-like crystals with one tiny crystal of Galena on the bottom.
T110 - Chrome Tourmaline $ 1150 Commander Mine, Nadonjukin, Simanjiro, Tanzania miniature - 4.1 x 1.4 x 1.1 cm Intergrown pair of Chrome Tourmaline crystals which is a chromium and vanadium rich Dravite. Complete all around with deep emerald green coloration in the upper half and a more olive green in the lower half. Fantastic color and highly gemmy. Undamaged with some shalow indentations where other crystals were attached. From a spectacular pocket opened in 2016. Weighs 10.5 grams.
T111 - Chrome Tourmaline $ 1100 Commander Mine, Nadonjukin, Simanjiro, Tanzania miniature - 3.9 x 1 x 0.8 cm Terminated single gem crystal of Chrome Tourmaline which is a chromium and vanadium rich Dravite. Complete all around with deep emerald green coloration in the upper half and a more olive green in the lower half. Fantastic color and highly gemmy. Undamaged. From a spectacular pocket opened in 2016. Weighs 5.8 grams.
T179 - Tourmaline $ 1500 Pederneira Mine, Sao Jose da Safira, Doce valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil miniature - 3.6 x 1.7 x 1.6 cm Classic large sized, complete and terminated 'watermelon' Tourmaline with a blue/green over red coloration. Slight chipping along termination edge, otherwise undamaged. Termination has a mirror bright luster, and but for the visible growth features you would swear it was polished. Weighs 21.7 grams.
T240 - Barite $ 400 El'brusskiy Arsenic Mine, Elbrus Mt., Northern Caucasus Region, Russia miniature - 4.3 x 2.5 x 1.3 cm Gem quality golden brown crystal complete all around. In excellent condition for this locality, with only some minor edge chipping. Fully transparent internally, so much so you see right through it and some of what looks like inclusions in the photos are really just shadows from some irregular surface areas on the lower backside of the crystal.
