E388 - Stibnite $ 270 (=~ AUS$ 412) Baiut, Romania miniature - 5 x 4.2 x 3.2 cm Thick, flat Stibnite crystals in an attractive spray formation. Individual crystals reach 1.5cm wide. Undamaged.
SA847 - Rose Quartz $ 450 (=~ AUS$ 686) Jequitinhonha River pegmatite, near Taquaral, Minas Gerais, Brazil miniature - 4.5 x 4 x 2.5 cm Superb Rose Quartz crystal formation atop a single white Quartz crystal.
A872 - Mimetite with Duftite $ 600 (=~ AUS$ 915) Mount Bonnie Mine, Northern Territory, Australia miniature - 5 x 3.5 x 3 cm Cluster of Mimetite crystals 2.2cm wide, with individual crystals to 9mm, some with attached green Duftite crystals. Undamaged. Locality is closed and these are seldom seen for sale anymore.
NA119 - Azurite with Quartz, Cerussite, and Chrysocolla $ 475 (=~ AUS$ 724) Sierra Rica, Chihuahua, Mexico miniature - 4 x 4 x 2.5 cm Azurite clusters to 1.1 cm wide in an unusual association with Quartz, Cerussite, and Chrysocolla from a little known locality in Mexico. Oddly, this specimen comes with a receipt from Shreve & Company (a jewelry store in San Francisco) dated 1970. The Azurite clusters are bright and lustrous and occur on both sides of specimen.
US131 - Smithsonite $ 350 (=~ AUS$ 534) Kelley Mine, Magdelena, New Mexico miniature - 5 x 3.1 x 2.5 cm 3-dimensional piece with thick, rounded masses of Smithsonite on both sides. Smithsonite is a sky-blue color with a highly satiny surface luster.
TU80 - Cuprite on Copper $ 950 (=~ AUS$ 1449) Poteryaevskoe Mine, Rubtsovskoe Deposit, Western Siberia, Russia miniature - 3.5 x 3 x 2.5 cm Cuprite crystals with two areas psuedomorphed to Copper. Sharp crystals with good luster.
TU81 - Cuprite on Copper $ 350 (=~ AUS$ 534) Poteryaevskoe Mine, Rubtsovskoe Deposit, Western Siberia, Russia miniature - 4 x 3 x 3 cm Cuprite crystals to 1.8cm on Copper with minor amounts of Silver. Cuprite from this occurrence were once plentiful but are no longer commonly seen available. Specimens with both Copper and Silver were never as common as those with Cuprite alone.
TU100 - Azurite $ 350 (=~ AUS$ 534) Milpillas Mine, Sonora, Mexico miniature - 3.7 x 3.1 x 2 cm Azurite crystals on matrix, largest 2.3cm tall. Great luster and color. Bottom of the main crystal is psuedomorphed to Malachite. Just one small nick on the main crystal, otherwise perfect.
TU103 - Fluorite $ 250 (=~ AUS$ 381) 2nd Sovietskiy Mine, Dal'Negorsk, Russia miniature - 4 x 4 x 4 cm Cluster of transparent cubic Fluorite with purple phantoms. Excellent luster.
A328 - Aquamarine $ 180 (=~ AUS$ 274) Quy Chau District, Nghe An Province,Vietnam miniature - 3.7 x 0.7 x 0.6 cm Highly transparent single Aquamarine crystal from Vietnam. The crystal has high glassy luster and is undamaged.
AF963 - Olmiite $ 1500 (=~ AUS$ 2287) N'Chwanning Mine, Kuruman, South Africa miniature - 5 x 3 x 2 cm Superb matrix specimen with two complete clusters of translucent Olmiite. This is a specimen I bought many years ago from Clive Quiet from the original find. Perfect and undamaged Olmiite clusters that look like a pair of gumdrops.
TS183 - Smithsonite $ 750 (=~ AUS$ 1144) Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 4.5 x 4.5 x 3 cm Fine and lustrous crystals of pink Smithsonite. Some of the crystals have a grey/black coloration right along the very edges - people say this style looks as if a blow torch was passed over them.Good color and undamaged.
TZ146 - Prehnite $ 270 (=~ AUS$ 412) Merelani Hills, Arusha Region, Tanzania miniature - 3.2 x 3.0 x 1.5 cm Blue Prehnite in a fantastic, flower-like formation. A complete floater with minor amounts of attached Graphite. Translucent blue with a really nice formation, way better than most from the find which were mostly irregular massess of crystals with damage along the edges.
TZ156 - Tanzanite $ 600 (=~ AUS$ 915) Merelani Hills, Arusha Region, Tanzania miniature - 3.8 x 1.0 x 1.0 cm Glassy and gemmy single Tanzanite crystal with an elongated, unusual form. It's somewhat triangular in cross-section, natural and unheated. Fine and undamaged with good size and an interesting form.
TS194 - Hausmanite with Ettringite, Andradite $ 260 (=~ AUS$ 396) N'Chwanning Mine, Kuruman, South Africa miniature - 3.8 x 3 x 2 cm Aesthetic combo specimen from the N'Chwanning Mine with Hausmanite, Ettringite, and Andradite. Fine quality Hausmanite (sharply formed with very bright, satiny luster) with an attached pale yellow Ettringite crystal all on red Andradite. For what is sometimes called a 'black ugly' mineral, this one is quite colorful!
