Pearlescent white Tarnowitzite crystals covering the top surface of matrix. A Tsumeb classic.

Cut and polished slice of Liddicoatite (a species of Tourmaline) from old finds in Madagascar. Cut parallel to the C-axis, the slice reveals the colorful interior of what would have appeared to otherwise be a dark crystal. Dark rind that shows areas of blue followed by a hot pink zone, and a orange/yellow transparent central zone. Well polished on both sides, weighs 23.66 grams.

Gem Cerussite crystals and Rosasite over a mass of crystalline Copper. This is one of the special Tsumeb specimens that really amaze.  A floater with good crystals on all sides, small but choice. Ex. Jim Parrish and Norm Dawson collections with labels.

Crystals of Tsavorite and Diopside on Graphite. The crystals formed in a vug on massive Graphite with crystals of Graphite present lining the vug. The main Tsavorite is about 7mm and highly gemmy. Tsavorite is a chrome and vanadium rich variety of Grossular from East Africa and is one of the most valuable types of garnet found anywhere. This specimen was found at the Merelani Tanzanite mines and a fine example of some of minerals found at this locality.

Floater specimen of 5 black cubic Bixbyite crystals with high luster intergrown with Topaz crystals. Largest Topaz is 1.9cm and double-terminated. Good all around.

Specimen of yellow Mimetite with clear rhombs of Calcite. From a recent find in Santa Eulalia it's in a great condition with crystals on both sides. On one side the Mimetite is atop the Calcite, the other side has much more Calcite with Mimetite both on top and beneath the Calcite.

Mirror-lustrous Rutile crystals to 1.2cm that contrast well against a matrix of white Pyrophyllite. Ex. Chuck Trantham personal collection, collected by Chuck at the mine in September 1983. This was considered special enough to Chuck to be illustrated in his Mineral Collections of California supplement to the Minerlogical Record magazine. Sawcut on base.

Large, slightly irridescent Bornite crystals to 2cm on a matrix of Quartz crystals. Bornite crystals are rare, these are just released from an old collection.
