LP688 - Diopside $ 90 (=~ £ 72) Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.7 x 1.5 x 1.2 cm Single Diopside crystal from the Merelani Tanzanite mines. A complete well terminated crystal (that is partially double terminated) with good green color and areas of transparency. Nice steep termination.

San Quintin is a beach town not too far south of San Diego and USA border. Having been to San Quintin a number times for surfing and fishing, I've always been fascinated by the Epidote found in the nearby hills, and I was happy to acquire this crystal many years later.

LP822 - Scorodite $ 50 (=~ £ 40) Mina Oujela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico thumbnail - 2 x 1.5 x 0.8 cm Crystals of rare Scorodite on Limonite from recent finds at the Oujela Mine in Mexico. The Scorodite crystals are glassy and blue form a dense druse of crystals.
LP648 - Cerussite with Dolomite $ 75 (=~ £ 60) Touissit, Morocco miniature - 4 x 4 x 3 cm Crystals of Cerussite with curves, pink Dolomite crystals atop a matrix of solid Galena. Looks somewhat similar to Cerussite specimens from Mibladen (which are associated with thin blades of pink Barite), but it's from Touissit! Comes with 2 old labels.

AU220 - Scorodite, Beudantite $ 60 (=~ £ 48) Mina Oujela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico thumbnail - 1.2 x 1 x 0.8 cm Single blue Scorodite crystal from a recent find at the Ojuela Mine. The Scorodite is lightly coated by golden brown Beudantite crystals (an uncommon lead, iron arsenate mineral). This is a relatively large crystal for Scorodite!
