LP938 - Grossular $ 200 (=~ AUS$ 305) Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Quebec, Canada thumbnail - 3 x 2.3 x 1.5 cm Transparent orange Grossular crystals with Diopside. The main crystal is 1.5cm wide.
AU435 - Tsavorite $ 1200 (=~ AUS$ 1830) Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 3.3 x 0.8 x 0.6 cm An extremely elongated Tsavorite crystal cluster with attached Pyrite crystals. Fully crystallized all around and undamaged, with just a tiny point of contact on the bottom. This style of Tsavorite is an unusual, wonderful surprise from the Merelani mines made years ago. This is one of the best of this style I've seen.
AU576 - Grossular $ 500 (=~ AUS$ 762) Handan Pref., Hebei Prov., China small cabinet - 5.5 x 5 x 4 cm Large cluster of nothing but interconnected, gemmy Grossular garnet crystals. The crystals are an amber/yellow color and transluscent to transparent. Average crystal size is about 5mm to 1cm with the best crystal at 1.5cm. A good sized cluster for the find. There are a few contacts where this cluster grew against other garnet crystals, but the majority is clean undamaged crystals.
AU705 - Almandine $ 950 (=~ AUS$ 1449) Zillertal, Schwaz District, Tyrol, Austria cabinet - 10.5 x 10 x 8 cm Large 8.5cm Almandine crystal in schist matrix. Large complete crystal in excellent condition (and unpolished!).
AU934 - Spessartine $ 1500 (=~ AUS$ 2287) Nani, Loliondo, Tanzania thumbnail - 3 x 3 x 2.8 cm Complete orange Spessartine crystal from recent production (yes, there is small scale mining ongoing at this locality). A complete crystal with very minor to no edge chipping and no black inclusions. Superb coloration that glows bright orange under lighting and areas of gem transparency. For some reason the crystals I've seen associated with red mica are some of the best from this deposit, and this one has a bit of red mica attached. A very nice one!!
AU740 - Spessartine $ 350 (=~ AUS$ 534) Nani, Loliondo, Tanzania miniature - 3.2 x 3 x 2.6 cm Complete orange Spessartine crystal from recent production (yes, there is small scale mining ongoing at this locality). A complete crystal with very minor edge chipping and one contacted area on the bottom where it grew against another crystal. Has a second small crystal intergrown and has areas of gem transparency.
FM105 - Spessartine $ 250 (=~ AUS$ 381) Nani, Loliondo, Tanzania thumbnail - 1.8 x 1.8 x 1.5 cm Gemmy orange Spessartine crystal from recent small scale mining at this locality. A complete crystal with good color and gem zones. Minor edge chipping, otherwise undamaged.

FM107 - Spessartine $ 290 (=~ AUS$ 442) Nani, Loliondo, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.2 x 2.2 x 2 cm Gemmy orange Spessartine crystal from recent small scale mining at this locality. A complete crystal with good color and gem zones. Minor edge chipping, otherwise undamaged.
AU859 - Spessartine $ 850 (=~ AUS$ 1296) Nani, Loliondo, Tanzania miniature - 4 x 4 x 3.5 cm Large, gemmy orange Spessartine crystal from recent small scale mining at this locality. A nearly complete crystal with damage at the bottom, otherwise complete all around. Weighs 400 carats with gem rough value.
AU947 - Almandine $ 75 (=~ AUS$ 114) Sudbury, Ontario, Canada thumbnail - 1.7 x 1.3 x 1.3 cm Complete single Almandine crystal. Undamaged, translucent with hair-like inclusions.
FM379 - Grossular $ 3000 (=~ AUS$ 4575) Mana Mine, Bajaur Agency, Pakistan small cabinet - 8 x 5 x 5 cm Large orange Grossular crystals from the Mana Mine in Pakistan. The crystals are translucent with a pleasing orange color and reach 3cm in size. Ex. Randy Parnagian collection and comes with an old Kristalle label.
FM391 - Spessartine with Quartz $ 500 (=~ AUS$ 762) Tongbei, Fujian Prov., China cabinet - 13 x 6 x 6 cm Sparkling orange Spessartine crystals coating Feldspar crystals with larger Smokey Quartz crystals rising up. Ex. Randy Parnagian collection.
FM626 - Spessartine on Quartz $ 950 (=~ AUS$ 1449) Minas Gerais, Brazil miniature - 5 x 2.5 x 1.7 cm Two vivid orange Spessartine crystals attached to a partial Smokey Quartz crystal. This is a beautiful old specimen form the Luis Menezes collection. The color of the Spessartine is just fantastic, rivaling Nigerian Spessartine. The largest crystal is 1.3cm wide.
FM804 - Spessartine on Feldspar $ 750 (=~ AUS$ 1144) Tongbei, Fujian Prov., China miniature - 3.3 x 2.3 x 2 cm Well formed, large Spessartine crystals on Feldspar. A highly aesthetic example from a recent find of larger than normal sized Spessartine. Main crystal is 1.5cm wide and undamaged.
