FM666 - Fluorite $ 350 Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan, China miniature - 4.2 x 4 x 3 cm Transparent blue Fluorite crystal from the Yaogangxian Mine. It's fully transparent and you can see all the way through the crystal. The Fluorite is a single cube with stepped octahedral modifications. It's crystallized on the bottom, so technically a floater, and has a bit of attached Ferberite on the base. Quality, well selected specimen from the Dr. Steven Morehead collection.
FM674 - Fluorite 'corners' $ 450 Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Tennessee, USA small cabinet - 5.5 x 3 x 2.5 cm Transparent purple Fluorite known as 'Carthage Corners', odd formations that are distinctive to this mine caused by preferential dissolution of Fluorite cubes. Complete all around with good color. Quality, well selected specimen from the Dr. Steven Morehead collection.
FM778 - Fluorite $ 2000 180m Level, Le Burg Mine, Tarn, France small cabinet - 7 x 6.5 x 5 cm Stunning single blue Fluorite crystal with superb color and color zoning. The crystal has bright, glassy surface luster. There is one small edge restoration, otherwise undamaged.
FM879 - Fluorite $ 250 Cave-in-Rock, Hardin Co., Illinois, USA cabinet - 10 x 6 x 5 cm Large blue and purple cubic Fluorite crystals from Illinois. The Fluorite is a beautiful transparent blue with purple overgrowths. There is a cleave to the corner of the central crystal (which keep the price way down), however the beauty of this piece is undeniable, with good size and excellent color (the purple dominates over the blue in the photos, but in person the interior is that super Illinois blue color with only purple on the exterior).
