In excellent condition from recent production and associated with yellow Muscovite and Arsenopyrite crystals.

The Fluorite crystals are lustrous and transparent with a light blue color and purple inner cores. In excellent condition with slight chipping on one edge. A cluster of stacked white, disc-shaped Calcite crystals adds additional beauty to this stunning piece.
MK942 - Calaverite with Fluorite $ 1500 Cresson Mine, Cripple Creek, Teller Co., Colorado, USA cabinet - 10 x 6.5 x 3.5 cm Colorful and rare specimen of Calaverite with purple Fluorite from Cripple Creek. Calaverite is a rare Gold Telluride mineral with the chemical formula AuTe2 and was first discovered in Calaveras County, California in 1861. Some of the most attractive specimens are those with Calaverite combined with bright purple Fluorite, such as this one. The Calaverite crystals reach 4mm in size and occur across the front face, bottom, and back of specimen. Ex. Len Pisciotta collection.

MK996 - Fluorite $ 350 Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan, China large cabinet - 16 x 10 x 3 cm Large, flat matrix covered by gemmy blue/purple Fluorite crystals. The Fluorite cubes reach 1.8cm in size and are highly glassy, transparent, with a light blue color over purple cores. There are a couple contact spots where the crystals grew against the opposing pocket wall. Needle-like, Chlorite included Quartz crystals are present and mixed among the Fluorite.

The Fluorite are highly transparent and lustrous and in perfect conditiion except for a cleave on the lower left corner which keeps the price down on what would otherwise be a more expensive specimen. Associated with Muscovite and green Chlorite.
