TU243 - Fluorite with Arsenopyrite $ 600 Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan, China small cabinet - 7.5 x 6 x 5.5 cm Purple Fluorite cubes to 3cm on edge intergrown with Arsenopyrite and Muscovite crystals, all atop a Quartz crystal. Good all around and undamaged.
TU244 - Fluorite on Quartz $ 750 Huanggang Mine, Inner Mongolia, China cabinet - 12 x 5.5 x 3.5 cm Double-terminated cluster of smokey Quartz crystals partially coated by white Calcite crystals. A 2cm transparent, clear Fluorite crystal sits between the main Quartz crystal and the tips of smaller Quartz crystal that flares out from the main crystal. Dramatic display specimen. Well crystallized all around with smaller Quartz crystals flaring out in the opposite direction from the base of the main crystal. The Fluorite octahedron has slight cleaving on one face or natural step growth, and there is one partial Quartz crystal at the base of the main cluster, otherwise undamaged.
TU248 - Fluorite $ 950 Chasan Mine, Chenzhou, Hunan, China small cabinet - 7.5 x 5 x 4 cm Water clear light green Fluorite cubes on matrix. Central main isolated cube is 2cm on the diagonal. Some of the smaller crystals are so clear you can't see them until you reflect light off their faces. This is the best quality from this find that I could find. Complete all around and undamaged. Better than photos.
J386 - Azurite with Malachite $ 280 Liufengshan Mine, Anhui Province, China small cabinet - 9 x 5 x 5 cm Highly lustrous Azurite crystals, some partially psuedomorphed to Malachite. Besides the main coverage of crystals on top, there are also many vugs of crystals on the sides and bottom. Undamaged old specimen, with old collection number attached to the bottom.
J376 - Arsenopyrite with Quartz $ 950 Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan, China cabinet - 13 x 10 x 7.5 cm Lustrous metallic Arseonpyrite crystals with large Quartz crystals. This would be a great addition to a Yaogangxian or Chinese mineral collection. Large, showy eye-catching specimen.
J571 - Azurite $ 350 Shi Lu Copper Mine, Guangdong Province, China miniature - 4.5 x 4 x 3.5 cm Fine floater cluster of Azurite crystals with a good, bright blue color (not too dark or black). Complete all around and undamaged.
J561 - Fluorite on Quartz with Scheelite $ 350 - ON HOLD Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan, China small cabinet - 6.5 x 5 x 5 cm Attractive and classic Yaogangxian specimen consisting of a large doubly-terminated Quarz crystal, cubic purple Fluorite, yellow/green Muscovite, and tan Scheelite crystals. It's nearly a floater with a small point of contact at the base, otherwise complete all around and undamaged.
K322 - Pyrite with Quartz $ 120 Shangbao Mine, Hunan, China small cabinet - 8 x 8 x 4 cm Mirro bright and lustrous Pyrite cubes on a matrix of solid crystalline Pyrite. Associated are green Quartz crystals and traces of purple Fluorite. The Shangbao Mine is well know for fabulous Pyrite specimens andthis one does not dissappoint, with cubes to 2cm on edge.
K746 - Mimetite $ 300 Pingtouling Mine, Liannan Co., Qingyuan Prefecture, Guangdong Province, China small cabinet - 6 x 4.5 x 3 cm High quality, glassy crystals with a rich golden color. A couple of damaged crystals otherwise nothing but fiery bright perfection.
K738 - Fluorite with Calcite $ 600 Dongpo Mine, Yizhang Co., Hunan, China small cabinet - 7 x 6 x 3.5 cm Transparent light green Fluorite cubes with transparent wafer-like Calcite crystals. The quality of both the Fluorite and Calcite is remarkable. The best of a small lot I obtained years ago.
K739 - Cinnabar $ 300 Yanwuping Mines, Guizhou, China miniature - 5 x 4.2 x 3.8 cm Cluster of large, twinned Cinnabar crystals 2.2cm wide on Dolomite and Quartz crystals. Another small 'drill bit' twin is near the base.
M448 - Babingtonite on Prehnite Hongquizhen Quarry, Meigu Co., Sichuan Province, China thumbnail - 3.1 x 2.5 x 2.1 cm Cluster of Babingtonite crystals on spheres of green Prehnite from a now old and defunct locality. The crystals are undamaged and sharply formed. It's crystallized all with the contact at the base. No longer being found.
M785 - Arsenopyrite with Calcite, Muscovite $ 350 Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan, China miniature - 3.5 x 2.7 x 1.8 cm Fine quality single Arsenopyrite crystal with another smaller crystal sticking out the front face. Well terminated bright crystals with the backside covered by wafer-like Calcite crystals.
M862 - Ilvaite $ 350 Huanggang Mine, Inner Mongolia, China small cabinet - 6.5 x 4.5 x 4 cm Cluster of thick, glossy black Ilvaite crystals with a few small green Quartz crystals attached. Complete all around.
M870 - Ilvaite $ 350 Huanggang Mine, Inner Mongolia, China miniature - 4.5 x 4 x 3.5 cm Cluster of thick, glossy black Ilvaite crystals with typical chisel-shaped termination. There are a few small green Quartz crystals and Hedenbergite attached. Complete all around.
