Pair of large pink Sapphire crystals from Tanzania. Two hexagonal prisms that have grown side by side, the largest 6cm and doubly-terminated. Displays well from the front but backside is more rough (as shown). Glows bright red under UV light. Impressive large Sapphires!

Large, wide translucent red/orange Wurtzite crystal from the Merelani Tanzanite Mines. These were found several years ago and were instantly recognized as the world's best for species. Good sized with nice form and flashes of red.

Complete and undamaged single Pyrite crystal on a mtrix of Calcite and Graphite from the Merelani Tanzanite mines. The Pyrite has uniform shape and bright, brassy metallic luster.

Globular translucent green Cuprian Smithsonite with yellow Mimetite from Tsumeb. The Smithsonite is translucent and forms botryoidal masses and short stalactitic formations with crystallized surfaces. A showy large specimen of one of the most desirable Smithsonite varietals from Tsumeb.

Well fomred crystals of Sapphirine exposed in a matrix of reddish Phlogopite, Quartz, and Calcite. There are two major crystals to 1.4cm in size and a number of smaller crystals. The Sapphirine are translucent when backlit along the edges. A rich and fine display specimen of this rare magnesium aluminum silicate mineral.

Elongated, gemmy single Tremolite crystal from the Merelani Tanzanite mines. This is larger than average with a vibrant green color and a perfect flat termination. Complete all around and undamaged, even the bottom is rehealed.

Large open vug lined with bright yellow crystals of Senegalite. The Senegalite form over layers of vivid blue Turquoise. Senegalite is a rare phosphate mineral and this is the Type locality for the species. This piece offers a huge area of open crystals as comapred to must with smaller, tighter vugs. Sawcut on back.

Lustrous Amethyst Quartz crystals known as 'Cactus Quartz' from South Africa. There are two generations of growth. The first generation has large Amethyst crystals measuring about 1.4cm thick, with a second generation of smaller crystals attached to the prism faces on the larger crystals. Undamaged.

Stunning gemmy Tanzanite crystal on Calcite crystals from the Merelani Hills in Tanzania. The Tanzanite 1.9cm tall and highly transparent with a blue/purple color. The Tanzanite grows out of white Calcite crystals and stands alone in front of a jumbled mass of smaller Tanzanite crystals.
